Our Pharmacy
Experience our care and understand why we are different
We have our own in-house pharmacy at Encompass Healthcare and Wound Medicine in West Bloomfield, Michigan offering our patients the best drug selection, dosage of IV antibiotics, and other medicines that Dr. Bruce Ruben prescribes for his patients.
Our pharmacy technician Robin assists Dr. Ruben in distributing and compounding medications. The drug selection and dosage is painstakingly selected noting a patient’s possible drug allergies and/or side effects to ensure that the patient can receive the best treatment possible.
We have a germ-free, positive pressure LFGI (laminar flow germ-free isolator). This ensures an isolated and sterile environment for compounding medication preparation and creation.

Every six months, we make sure that our LFGI is certified by the State of Michigan. In addition, Dr. Ruben has a drug-control, dispensing license so that our patients can take home I.V. antibiotics for self infusion or other prescribed medicines.
About Our Process
Dr. Ruben directly checks on-site prescription preparation and labeling before these medicines are administered on-site or dispensed for home use. For a list of medications (not exhaustive) that we dispense, click HERE.
Our outpatient facility is located on the border of West Bloomfield, Walled Lake and Commerce township in the Lakes Medical Building and is convenient to most Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb county cities.
